Masking Text
2 Attachment(s)
Hi :)
I am wondering if anyone knows how to mask text, I saw a youtube video where the person did it via the layers panel but I cant figure it out at all. I have a grey box and i would like the text in the box to cut off or mask where the box ends. In the layers panel i have the box on top and i have the text inside the box. Any help would be so very appreciated!! THANKS |

Just a matter of clicking the right buttons in the inspector.

I tried this and it does nothing. What layer should be selected when I click that? The box or the text and image of the lady? Thanks for your help :) |
Select the text, then apply the settings for justification, etc.

Of coarse you can also use Master Objects

what about shapes

okay I am understanding that the text needs to be in the containers text layer (the one I get when i double click and get the text box Not the one where I click the A and can type text anywhere). Is that right? That it cant be an independent and different text layer? The second question is how can i mask the shape (of the girl)? |
