A2 Hosting settings with iPhone webdav sync
Hi all!
Can someone let me know the settings to sync Omnifocus with iPhone using Webdav and A2 hosting. Sorry, being really stupid!! Thanks!! |
If A2 is setup like Bluehost (another cPanel-based service), then you'll need to set up a web disk user in your cPanel interface. You'll need to use the non-SSL URL for the web disk, which is port 2077:
http://yourhost.com:2077 When OF prompts for the username/password, use the values you setup for the web disk user. Should work fine. |
Also make sure you have the 1.0.1 version of OmniFocus for the iPhone. Apple just made it available in the last day or so.

I just downloaded the new iOF and got bi-directional sync (i.e., including OFX) to work using cPanel as described in this thread, using http://mydomain.com:2077/ After reading this thread, I then tried https://mydomain.com:2078/ which also seems to work fine. I just wanted to verify that I should indeed be using not only https but also :2078. Bob |
