Importing todo list from Excel
 

I have a huge simple TODO list in excel. I am considering purchasing Omni Focus. However, I reviewed the entire manual and couldn't determine if I could import this list of items so that each one was an action. I'm not trying to import anything else, but this seems like a major flaw if you can't even import a simple list.

Yes, you can import it by using copy and paste. To import a list made up of one action per line, simply select the whole list, copy to the clipboard, go into OmniFocus, click on the row handle (black dot at the left edge) for a line, and paste. You'll get a new action for each line in the selection if you did it correctly. If you get a single action with many, many lines, you didn't click on the row handle immediately before pasting.
