Table in OO4

I wonder how to make a Table in OO4. I can't figure out how to generate a new Table in OO4. However, I can paste a docx Table into OO4. A right-click can pop-up a Table Inspector but nothing in the Table Inspector can be selected or adjusted... I would appreciate any comments regarding this issue. Thanks!
