Changing Project Due Date has no effect on individual actions

Hi there,

Perhaps I'm being thick, but I have created a lengthy project with a particular due date & a mix of sequential and parallel actions, all with start and due dates within. What I want to do is change the project start & due date & have each item within it to have its corresponding dates altered by the same length of time. So far I have been unable to find a way to achieve this.

My goal is ultimately to set up a sample project, and to copy & paste it as a template for the recurring (but unfortunately not entirely consistent) assignments that come my way.

Can anybody shed some light on this for me?

Cheers!

Dan Byler's Defer script will shift projects and actions around in time. http://bylr.net/files/omnifocus/

Curt Clifton's Populate Template Placeholders is a very powerful template facility. You set up a template which will have the dates adjusted to reflect the new project's start date. http://www.rose-hulman.edu/~clifton/software.html
