Don't want project to show in Due list without tasks

This is probably a dumb newbie question, so thanks in advance for your help.

I have a project with a few tasks. I complete all the tasks. I look at the built-in "Due" perspective and the project is showing up bolded as No Due Date. And I DO have the setting "When completing the last item, mark the project or group complete" checked!

Why is this still showing up? What am I doing wrong?

thanks,
Richard

Do you have that "When completing the last item, mark the project or group complete" property set on this particular project? There is the setting in the Preferences, which controls whether that behavior is set on any projects created after you set it, and there is the setting in the Inspector for the project(s) you are inspecting. It is quite possible to have the default set to auto-complete but not have it set for an individual project, particularly if you discovered that option after the project was created.

That was exactly it. I changed the global setting after the project was created.

Thanks so much!
