where are Favorites saved?
 

I had to force-quit OW yesterday and when I relaunched, my recent Bookmark/Favorite edits were gone. I checked [COLOR="Purple"]~/Library/Application Support/OmniWeb 5/[/COLOR] but both of the Favorites files were old.

a search found three Favorites files named [I] Favorites.html[/I], [i]Favorites-2.html[/i] and [i]Favorites-3.html[/i] in [COLOR="purple"]~/Library/Application Support/OmniWeb 5/ServerBookmarks/[/COLOR]. what are these? are these the ones that OW writes to when it responds to Bookmark/Favorites edits? are they only used when Synchronize is turned on in Preferences?

OmniWeb does indeed save bookmark files to the serverbookmarks folder when syncing. If you turn bookmark syncing off however it should copy these over to your "~/Library/Application Support/OmniWeb 5/" folder.
