Window position/size for different perspectives
 

On page 54 in the manual it says

"Restore Layout — Select this to make the perspective remember the window size, window position, and columns of the window you saved. Otherwise, your existing window will keep its layout when you open the perspective."

I interpret this meaning that I should be able to have different window sizes, positions for different perspectives. Unfortunately this doesn't seem to work for me, window size and position is always what is happens to be - it's not resized.

Have I misunderstood the manual or am I missing something else?

i'm not with my laptop right now but i think it resizes if you select a checkbox that says "open in new window" or something like that.

otherwise, it probably won't resize your current window.

OK, I need to test that. I checked with support and they said it was a bug in the documentation :D
