I have not tried this IFTTT recipe. It does seem very straight forward to implement. Can you provide details on what you consider to not be working for you regarding this IFTTT recipe? It might also be helpful to review the steps taken in setting up this rule.
[LIST=1][*]You should have created a label (folder) in Gmail named "GTD".[*]The recipe should have your personal OmniFocus Mail Drop email address in the to address.[*]When emails are labeled (move to the folder) "GTD", they will be sent to the OmniFocus Mail Drop email address and added to OmniFocus.[/LIST]

I've been trying to get it to work for an hour. I was getting an error stating that Gmail could filter messages based on labels in the browser when I set up filters.

Make sure you use a tag named "GTD" and not "[Mailbox]/GTD".
