Includes an updated version of WebKit, and fixes a long standing regression that was preventing bookmark syncing and checking to work over HTTPS.

Based on limited testing it appears that 622.15.0.142076 doesn't honor the custom style sheet preference (globally or site preferences).

Correct, we are looking into this issue.

Great work! Have used OmniWeb since 2006. Still my default browser of choice. Love its real Apple feel, reliability and its bookmarking.

Thanks again

Has there been any progress with tracking down this issue? Chance of a fix before chrissy?

Flash video playback also appears broken from Vimeo at least. Audio plays, but video is noise or random pixels.

Example video embedded here: http://blogs.discovermagazine.com/badastronomy/2010/12/23/some-bad-science-can-make-you-laugh-and-some-kills/

OW 622.15.0.142632
Flash 10.1.102.64

Playback in Safari is fine.

Hmmm... OW works fine for me for the blog you mentioned above.

Axxel, yes that sounds like something going on with Flash -- OmniWeb hands all that stuff off to the flash plug-in in one package so it's going to be all or nothing basically.

As for the stylesheet issues that some people are noticing. Sorry for the delay. This is at the top of our list to fix.

Axxel 2010-12-27 08:14 PM

Troy, actually I was too quick to blame Flash. It appears for that video Vimeo attempts to stream something for Quicktime. The Perian 1.2.1 component messes up the playback.

Obviously, disabling Perian is an option. What's not clear is why OmniWeb would be selecting a different playback component than Safari. Any ideas?

troyb 2010-12-27 09:20 PM

Hmmm, not sure. If you do disable Perian, what kind of video are you served? The html5 version or Flash version?
