iPhone Webdav sync with non-standard port
 

Has anybody succeeded in syncing their iphone cleanly with a webdav server on a port other than port 80?

For example:

[url]http://foo.example.com:1234/webdav/OmniFocus.ofocus[/url]

This works great from my mac-based copy of OmniFocus but my iphone
appears to update the database but generates a "can't find host" error
dialog. Any chance the iphone app is trimming off the explicit port number
for some transactions and not others?

Works fine with my cPanel server, where WebDAV is running on ports 2077/2078.
