Singletons sort by due date?

When can't I sort by date in my singletons projects? I choose Due, but nothing happens. It seems like sort within project is broken or not turned on yet...maybe I'm missing something?

AFAIK, in planning mode, sort only works on projects, not on individual actions. If you want to sort actions, switch to context mode (and don't group).
