Original message link on iPhone does not work

When viewing a clipping from Mail in Omnifocus for Mac I can click on "Original Message" and it will take me to the email in Mail. This link still appears in Omnifocus for iPhone after it had been synced but when I press it there is no response.

Is this a bug, feature that has not been added yet or limitation of the iPhone?

I believe the problem here is that the Mail application on the iPhone is missing support for those links.
