OF2 - Improved Search
 

I looked to see if there was any info on including improved search in OF2. It would be great if we could have improved search, including Boolean searches that could be save and added to perspectives. I know that some of that availability is available through applescript, but that means it's not available on the iPad. Any chance in seeing this? It would make my reviews and meetings a little easier and it would allow me the flexibility of using my laptop or my iPad.

But there isn't an improved search on the iPad — how is giving you that feature on the Mac going to give you the choice to use your iPad?

My guess is that whatever the final feature set, there will be updates issued for the iPad and iPhone to keep them on compatible. So here's hoping.

Omni is on record stating that OF2 for Mac's initial release is just catching up the Mac UI and functionality with the iOS apps...
