Setting Start Page

Hi Guys. I'm having trouble getting OW to start on my preffered startpage. It always starts with one of the tabs from the left pane. I checked on preferences under start page the URL that I want OW to load as a start. It always starts loading a tab (Left side) instead of the assigned URL.
I drag the tabs from the left to the trash bin but when I restart OW, the same webpages(tabs) appear back.
Please help.

do you have the workspace set to autosave?
