Fuzzy PDF display in OmniGraffle Pro
 

Hi,

When I place a single-page PDF file using the File | Place Image... menu item, a low-resolution image appears very fuzzy in OmniGraffle, while in Adobe Illustrator the sharpness of the pixels is maintained.

I've attached a screenshot of the problem (Picture 2.jpg). On the right is the original Illustrator version (in Illustrator); on the left is Omnigraffle.

This problem is not limited to this particular pdf file — other pdf files containing low-resolution images show the same issue.

I'm using OmniGraffle pro 5.0 v136.7, on a PPC powerbook g4 running OS X 10.5.3.

Is there something I can do to fix this problem, or is this a bug?

My initial guess is that this would be a bug, but if you can send in a sample PDF file to [email]omnigraffle@omnigroup.com[/email] we can take a closer look at it and find out for sure.
