Possible to control frequency of OmniFocus backups? [A: yes, in General prefs.]
 

? Is it possible to stop the backing up system.
One back up a day is pretty much for me.

Yep! You can control how often OmniFocus backs up the database from the "General" pane of preferences. Hope this helps!

I got the impression that he was saying that 1 backup per day was more than he wanted.

I'm not aware of a hidden preference that would do that, but I'll ask around a bit.
