Project or Context Abreviation
I have been reading Page 33 of the OmniFocus manual http://www.omnigroup.com/ftp/pub/software/MacOSX/Manuals/OmniFocus-1.5-Manual.pdf, in relation with the processing of Mail messages into actions. In this respect, I observe that it is mentioned with regards to Projects and Actions, that while the sign ( > or @, respectively) should be followed by "project/context name or abbreviation".
My question will be, what defines a project name or abbreviation? Is it something that can be established in advanced, for cases which may have long project names with similar wordings? Thanks, |
It's the same smart matching that happens when you type in a context or project field. There's no definition involved, except your choice of words when naming the project or context.
If you have several project names that all start with Learn how to <xyz> the string "lth" followed by the first few letters of <xyz> would probably be an effective shortcut. |
noted. thanks -
