question about sync

I like how omnifocus works, it seems to do exactly what I need, except I don't think I'm understanding the sync option properly.
I want to sync all of my projects, folders etc between my home and work computer. is this possible? even through .Mac? If not, is this something that will be possible in the release version? I t would be nice to know if it's possible before i commit to buy.

The command that I get in the menu and on the toolbar is "sync with iCal" which seems obvious to me. Is there some other "sync" command you're trying to use? Or is syncing with iCal not working right for you?

At present, there is no Mac-to-Mac sync. You can, however, store your omnifocus database file pretty much anywhere you want, and take advantage of file-level synchronization, with all its many pitfalls. (But taking it around on, say, a keychain drive should be totally trouble-free.)

Syncing with iCal seems to sync the to-dos but not the data such as folders and projects. Or am I wrong about this.

I will try this and see how practical it is.
