New task without any schedule

How to add a task without any schedule. At first I list all the tasks involved, and some of them don't have any timeline associated to them yet, so, to avoid confusion, I'd rather they didn't have...

Work out timelines back from set deadline

How to set a final project delivery deadline and work timings back from that?

For example:
Go live date = May, 1st (T)
Task = T – 2 weeks = May, 17th to May, 31st

New task just with baseline schedule

Hi,

Everytime I add a new task the actual start and end dates are added automatically and cannot be removed.

I would just like to have baseline dates for now as the project has just begun.
