Sync loses password after midnight

Hey all, I've got a new problem that's recently (last few weeks) cropped up. I'm running OmniFocus/1.10.4/GM-v77.90.20 on MacOS 10.8.3.

If I leave OF running, and the app is still open as I go...

Beautiful

Thanks blackketter, I changed mine to just email and not using SMS, and this works like a charm. I had to configure my email server to understand my email address as "pete+omnifocus@" and have that...

Try OF Again? How to reset expiration?

I took a look at OF quite a while ago as a replacement for my current GTD app. It seems the app has matured a bit since I last looked, and I'd like to take another peek at it to see if it has enough...

Prioritization Please

I'm with many others in saying that I'd love a Mac app (as opposed to running Parallels 24x7 for running MyLifeOrganized), but I can't move to OmniFocus until support of prioritization is supported. ...

Here here!

Yes, Life Balance used to be the best I could find. But as many have said, their support and development went downhill really quickly. Many people jump shipped to MyLifeOrganized (MLO), which took...

Didn't know that

Thanks Curt. I only got invited recently as an alpha tester so I've probably missed out on tons of discussions. I'll start going back and reading old threads to catch up.

QuickEntry is one of...

Keep it lean and mean

I agree about having the app be lean and mean. I personally don't care about attachments, and URL linking isn't a must-have feature for me. I want task / project management. OF in it's current form...

Books to Read, etc.

I have a very simple approach here for these types of lists. Maybe too simple for your needs, but it works for me.

I've got a project called "Personal Wish List". Inside of it I have separate...

I'll check OO out

Thanks Curt. I'll have to check out OmniOutliner. But Applescripts and OO doesn't sound like something that will be better than my current task manager program.

I think you missed my point...

Library/Project/Singletons - Too Complex!

So the hardest challenge I've had with OF so far is the massive vocabulary you have to learn just to get started. And I'm feeling more and more like I *have* to read David Allen's GTD to use the app....

User-defined states?

So I think I'm learning quickly that many people in the forums were previous OO users, or kGTD users, and have learned to accept various shortcomings of those tools for productivity / tasks...

GTD isn't the only way...

I just posted almost the exact same response to another thread... so this may be a repeat.

This is exactly where I don't think the theory of GTD suits me well, and I use some concepts from other...

I see your point, but this is where I don't think the theory of GTD suits me well, and I use some concepts from other people's time/life management suggestions. I agree I should spend less time using...

Because development stopped

Why have I moved on from Life Balance? Development has effectively stopped. The company exists, but they seem to focus on new platform support (Windows Mobile, Vista, etc.) while there's been a huge...

Focusing in on what boonespooner said on "priority", the biggest feature I'm lacking right now is an ability to prioritize my projects and tasks. I've been a long time user of Life Balance, then...

How I sync

FYI, I use Chronosync to sync the home directory between my G5 tower and my MacBook Pro. It sync's the ~/Library/Application Support/OmniFocus directory for me. I don't bother syncing the...
