Thanks Rob! I tried it and it works well. I'm using your recursion example in order to preserve hierarchy.

Muliple OF Windows appears to be the problem

Thanks Curt. I solved it by closing multiple OmniFocus windows and keeping just one window open at a time. I haven't looked into the problem/symptoms any further.

Your OFRetrieveHandlers.applescript is an empty file?

Tried downloading your handlers but when I open the file in Script Editor its an empty file. I'm interested in using them for my scripts, could you double check?
