That would be very useful. I use perspectives for this, and my "anywhere" tasks go in the "iPhone" context, which I always have with me. It works, but your way would be better.

You know, you're totally right. Most other apps load slowly, too - they only seem to load faster because of the display. I would really like OF to load (and sync) faster - but it's so much more...

That's good info, but the problem is going to keep coming back. Hopefully Omni will find a way to make it faster without having our having to keep on manually deleting our databases.
