In the style attributes inspector, the color of the selected item is shown in a chit, and also identified with a descriptive name.

The still-unexplained behavior is how the links got "weirder." In testing the linking/attaching feature today, I have at least partly replicated that weirdness.

I use a Cirque EasyCat touchpad....

After I posted the above report, the links from one OOP file to another started getting even weirder.

I reinstalled OOP and now they appear to be working again.

On my Power PC G4 I've been frustrated by this for some time. I deleted all my completed and dropped tasks. Didn't make any noticeable difference. I rebuilt the file. A little bit better... but...
