This function, purging or better yet, archiving, the completed items within a certain date range is a good feature to add.
There is a script to do something similar, so the scripting can work...

I'm a great fan of OmniFocus and will happily purchase a copy at the pre-order price -- it is a great program.
I seriously doubt it will sell at $80 retail. iGTD, while not as good as OmniFocus,...

search item sticking seems problematic
I also had the same experience and concern as the person starting this thread. Nothing visible in the project view, though items appearing in context view.
Turns out there were remnants of a word...

How about a setting to auto-hide the OF window after a certain amount of inactivity? This is available in iGTD and seemed to me a nice feature.

A bit unclear to me what this would mean. One presumably needs to have an email selected in a mail client. Is it just a matter of executing a capture script from within OmniFocus? That could be done...
