I'm seeing a delay too - not as long as 6 seconds, but long enough to make you wonder whether you actually clicked/expanded a list. I then click again to make sure and it all happens at once.

I've been using the licence extension OmniGroup were kind enough to offer anyone with a trial version of Omnifocus v1, prior to release of Omnifocus v2.
