a workaround I just discovered is to sort by 'changed', then check and uncheck tasks in the reverse order that you want to order them by.

Well, I was using my regular old bucket and never thought about the encryption...perhaps that was part of my problem, although, it sounds like there are problems even with an unencrypted bucket.
