Is there anything new on this subject? I do the same as the OP and would really like to be able to "promote to project". Is there a workaround with the current version since I don't see "Structure"...

+1 on this. This is the first time I've ever had to come to the forums for troubleshooting help.

Had no idea that you had to have nothing selected to do a global search...very counterintuitive...
