My original source file on a different hard disk did not have the problem, nor did a later copy of the damaged file, prior to the error.

It might well be this was an error that occurred in a single OO file for some unknown reason. A backup copy of the same file inserted into an OO document did NOT produce the same failure to save...

BeachBall on Save

Since loading SL 10.6.2 and updating most things, OO has done a Save and never existed the BeachBall step. Forced Quit, and all seems OK afterwards.

Not sure what might be going on.

Any Ideas?...

Tile Windows Option?

It was a common choice in some programs to help organize when you had a dozen windows open, to use the "Tile Windows" command.

Should OmniOutliner have such a command?
