Perspectives to open in expanded mode

Is there a way to have all perspectives open with categories/contexts in expanded mode? I always have to hit control-command-9 although the perspective was saved with expanded categories/contexts.

OmniOutliner still has an awkward and unintuitive handling, especially when it comes to styles. Reading from feedback on Versiontracker and MacUpdate I’m not the only one complaining about these...
