Adding resources makes task take longer?

I have a task that I assigned 3 days as the effort needed. Then, as I assign resources to this task, it takes longer and longer to complete. With two people working 70% I have 1w 2.75 hrs.

Wait a sec..

Deleting the task, then re-entering it and assigning the people to it -before- adding the dependancy seems to have freed it up.

What's the deal?

Couple questions

Just bought a copy of Omni plan, trying to get a handle on it.

1) Is there a way to select multiple tasks without having all the tasks in between selected as well?

2) Is there a one click...
