OmniPlan runs slow

Is there any way to optimize the performance of Omniplan. I am running on a new Macbook with a fast drive and 8G, but it just seems that Omniplan is very sluggish.

I have tried deleting the prefs and exporting the file to a new file. Nothing seems to help Omniplan is basically unusable now. All this worked fine under 1.x.

Omniplan Hanging

I was working on a project plan and Omniplan got progressively slower and slower. Eventually I tried to quit and restart, but it started using massive amounts of CPU and took forever to save the open...
