The alternate rows only works on the data table...

The alternate rows only works on the data table on the left not the gantt chart. If you have a huge print out of it's scaled down small it is easier to 'slide across' to the corresponding gantt...

I third that.. perhaps a simple opacity setting.

Also the ability to print the shading (unless I am missing some obvious setting some where).

I have however discovered the export function which when you select PDF you get a single page gantt chart. You need to play with the time scale and you loose the task list table but I find it's...

It's beta but printing is a mess

Even MS Project seems to be beta software when it comes to printing.

If I want a landscape print out on 3 pages (1 wide x 3 tall) why can't the app just scale to fill the page margins?

Row lines... a big gantt chart can be hard to read.

Why can't you specify the colour of completed milestones?

Why do milestones show the date & time when the show resources is turned on?
