Thanks RiK-- I tried that too. The parent items are no longer shown if you tweak that setting, it's true, but they *do* still seem to get counted in the "no context" badge count. This is what I found...

I heartily second this request. The whole webdav thing feels totally beyond me, and I'm not about to pay for MobileMe or BingoDisk when I have absolutely no use for those services otherwise. I think...

I am so very happy to hear that this is in the works, because its current non-existence is the one thing holding me back from buying OF for iPhone right now. I'm not about to start mucking around...

Why I (still) love OmniFocus

What follows is a "feedback" email I originally sent to Omni back in late November, when we were still in the beta phase and a lot of new users were just starting to join the forum due to the...

Hallelujah, lizard and jasong. Both of you have beautifully articulated something that's been increasingly worrying me lately. I was more involved in early discussions about OF features than I've...

I'm with you, SpiralOcean. Those numbers just saved my bacon! I had a couple things in my sea of projects that are due tomorrow. Without those numbers I just wouldn't have been aware of them, and if...

I have to say, I'm a little baffled by this thread. As I understand it, from the very beginning, OF has been conceived and designed as a GTD app. It came from kGTD. Sure, other folks are welcome to...

chrjohns raises a great point about these single tasks not being related-- now that I think about it, that's spot on-- and Hoff's followup hits the nail on the head. I'd *love* to see something like...

Personally, if we're looking for a place to put single tasks that are not part of any project, I would rather not have that be the Inbox. For me, according to canonical GTD, the Inbox is where I dump...

That sounds great for 1.0, Michelle-- thanks for the info!

For much later on, in a future release, it sure would be nice to have the app make a distinction between "on hold" and "someday/maybe"....

Another question after watching demo: someday/maybe items?

I'm so thrilled about OF, I'm just watching Ethan's demo yet again for the sheer joy of it, and something occurred to me. How are you Omni folks thinking about Someday/Maybe items, and how they fit...

I'm with Hoff on this one. If you're going to include priority functionality, please do keep it light and simple.

Michelle-- funny, I was just thinking about this issue last night. Personally, I don't want to see more than one next action per project. But clearly, from the responses here, some other folks do. I...
