How do you DOWNGRADE the app?

Have tried all the proposed solutions in this and the sticky thread. Can anyone point me to the steps necessary to DOWNGRADE to the previous version? I can live with 1.61 while the troubleshooting...

1.6.2 causes fatal crash - Help needed

I too have the same problem. I've exhausted everything I can think of to get this up and running again. Is there a way to rollback to v1.6.1?

Loading.... measured in hours

Fewer than 200 actions, no attached files or other space hogs, and the only way to stop the "loading..." screen is to delete and reinstall the application.
