I had the same problem. My Library/Caches folder...

I had the same problem. My Library/Caches folder didn't have the folder mentioned above and I couldn't quit, but I found the rebuild database solution recommended by jimmygster worked for me....

Please add my vote to this. I came up with the same work arounds suggested here but neither are entirely satisfactory. Incredible this functionality wasn't in from the get-go.
