I feel your pain! I have asked for this function several times. It is the single most needed feature in Omnifocus for iPhone. Maybe someday...
No workarounds except if you like constantly rearranging projects in that view, than coming back to contexts. That will give you more control, albeit with a significant keystroke cost.
Which leads me to another annoyance: why ask every single time whether I want a New Action or a New Context when 99.99 percent of the time all I want is a new action.
More keystrokes are not a good thing. Is anyone at Omnifocus listening?
