That's a good point, refulgentis. It's the same problem that immediately turned me off from Things. Once I had a 1,000+ actions in it, I quickly realized that it was just going to be too much effort to scan the
entire list every time I wanted to determine what's
available.
I think it's largely those basic "next/available/remaining" rules in OmniFocus that give the app its reputation as being complicated. But it's also those same rules that make OmniFocus so powerful and a joy to use once you understand them.
