Probably that is the case. But with all due respect that just points out a serious ongoing flaw of primarily looking to existing users to evaluate the need for new features. The PERT request is a great PLAN example: Potential new users have been asking for the feature for years but staff continues to disregard the PERT requests, just like staff has disregarded cloning requests since v1 of OUTLINER.

So staff surveys existing users who mostly are happy limited to only GANTT (after all, existing users selected a Project Management app that only does GANTT, duh). Staff can save the effort of implementing PERT, but at the cost of non-response to users like me who will not buy an app that lacks PERT in the workflow.

Note that most project management app buyers create a short list for evaluation based on some key features. Things like "Does it run on Macs?" and "Does it have PERT?" are such early qualifiers. I would not even be here commenting if I was not already a user of other Omni products.

Note too that PERT is not just someone's "pet feature," PERT is a major defining characteristic of project management apps.
