If I type due today, I mean that it's due sometime from the first minute of the day until the last minute of the day. I don't mean it's due at the very last minute of the day (that would be 'before tomorrow'.

I have absolutely no interest in using due times for projects. Prior to now, I have never once entered a specific time in the due date. The change in the default will force me to enter a time (of 12:00 am) for every single action. I really don't want to do that. I could care less if the preferences are cluttered -- ideally I should not have to interact with the preferences very often. A little clutter is far better than having to add extraneous data on every single action item entered.

The simplest preference to add would obviously be the default time. Given the chance, I would set it back to 12 am.
