To do this, hover your mouse cursor over the milestone in the gantt chart, then click and drag an arrowhead from the beginning of the milestone to the beginning of the task. Then, select the milestone and bring up the "Task : Dependencies" inspector and enter a lead time of -1d.

When you drag a milestone now, it should bring the task along with it.
