Sometimes I end up in this place too. It's a sign of passion and love for a program. You just can't get how they could do such, in your eyes obvious, UI-stupidity to that beautiful peace of software. Don't judge him to hard. ;)

And while I haven't thought about it thoroughly, I have to agree that there is a substantial kind of interface resistance then working with OmniFocus. For example the missing area highlight (sidebar/main view) and the collapse behavior or the little tiny triangles drive me crazy too.
