AHA! Selecting the line itself works for me and the styles - sorted. Thanks.

Also looks like OmniGraffle's worth getting for what I need it for - great - will pick it up now.

So this is way better for me now - sort out the image sizing (and let the user take a photo 'in app' as well as include direct from the library) plus PDF export and this is really getting there ;-)
