It would be most excellent if we could set a preference to close the downloads window automatically after X seconds. Even a fixed delay of 10 seconds.

When I download something I plan on launching, like a DMG, it is a pain to watch it download in front of me and then have the window vanish before I can double-click.

Most of the time I do want the window to go away, but in Safari with Glims or SafariStand I found it useful to delay this for 10 seconds or so, in case I planned on double-clicking.
