Here are a few articles about Apple giving iPhone app developers the heads-up:

Of course, take this with a grain of salt. After all, this is AppleInsider which has a hit-and-miss reputation.

But if there are several news publications showing demos of how their content would work with a tablet form, it does sound interesting.

It would definitely make sense for Apple to tell developers small nuggets of information without revealing what is behind the curtains. Otherwise all the app developers out there would be caught their pants around their ankles trying to play catch up with Olympic Sprinter Usain Bolt.

I'd think that the app developers would like to be given as much a heads-up as possible before the iSlate hits the ground running in March 2010.

Personally, I'd still use OmniFocus on my iPod touch. It's much easier to lug around an iPhone or iPod touch as compared to the iSlate.
