Having just searched through the forum, I saw a whole lot of people who wanted the page numbers re-added to the Canvases sidebar when they were removed (in version 5, I guess?), so I get why those are there. For my purposes, though, I don't care what the page numbers are, but I can't find any way to turn them *off*. They just cause the canvas names to be truncated, and since I do a lot of my work on a laptop, screen real estate is at a premium, so I can't just make the sidebar wider (nor should I have to, since I don't want the page numbers in the first place).

Could this maybe just be a setting instead of waffling between having them there or not?
