I'm using a shared layer as a header, and would like to include a logo as part of the header. When I attempt to insert the logo image into the shared layer, it always lands in one of my other layers instead. If all other layers are locked, it creates a new layer for the image, rather than placing it in the shared layer. The image is a png file.

Any ideas why this might be happening?
