I'm a newbie, which will probably explain my problem.
I have created an omniplan project which has repetitive tasks (the creation of banners and pages for a website). These repetitive tasks are grouped into sections.
A section once completed is released. In my opinion section 2 can begin before section 1 has been completed because they are independent of each other, though they do share resource. I made sure the resource did not overlap either.
So I finished my plan, removed all violations and the completion time came in at 3 months. I was happy. That is until I hit the 'level' button. Now everything has moved and the competition time is 4 months.
Before each section took 5w 3d 3.25h. Now after levelling the sections durations have changed, here are the before and after times.
Before
- 2w 2d 4.5h
- 3w 3h
- 5w 2d 3.5h
- 5w 3d 3.75h
- 5w 3d 3.25h
- 5w 3d 3.25h
- 5w 3d 3.25h

- 7w 3.5h

I guess my only way to work out what is going on is to go through it with a fine tooth comb. Which I plan to do later this afternoon
However each section has around a 100 sub tasks so I wanted to ask you, if you have seen this kind of behaviour before?
