Just to add... if it's the same url that times out for you every time in OmniWeb, you might try adding this address to the black list. After doing that OmniWeb wont even try loading it and hopefully this will result in snappier response times for the content that doesn't have a problem loading. I don't know if this will defeat the purpose for you.
