al_f: As explained above, I think this is no violation of GTD if there is a next action assigned to the project I am talking about. It is necessary to be clear about the next step, but you do not need to plan the details of actions that might be done after several steps. Nonetheless it is desirable to keep thoughts about these later actions. And I think it is better to store them within the project (or at a list related to the project) - as reference material - rather than in the general inbox.
